April 2nd, 2019, the HDBank National Championship 2019 Organizing Committee conducted a lottery to arrange the schedule of the first stage (qualifying) of the tournament.

Stage I (qualifying) includes 6 teams, therein 03 teams participating in the Futsal National Championship 2018: Sanvinest Sanna Khanh Hoa, Thai Son Bac, VietFootball and 03 teams for the first time: Da Nang, V&V FC, Quang Nam. 06 teams will compete in a round of rounds to calculate points and rankings. Four teams with the highest rank will be entitled to attend Stage II of the tournament.

Stage II consists of 10 teams, of which 06 teams ranked from 1st to 6th at the National Championship Futsal 2018: Thai Son Nam, Sanvinest Sanatech Khanh Hoa, SAHAKO FC, Kardiachain Saigon FC, Cao Bang, Tan Hiep Hung and 04 teams passed the Qualifying Round. 10 teams will compete in a round of two turns (first leg – second leg) to calculate points, ranking final.

Teams compete in a round-robin format, picking out the four strongest teams in the second stage

– Teams ranked from 1 to 6 will be specially invited to participate in Phase II of the National Championship Futsal in 2020, other teams will have to attend the qualifiers.

– Teams ranked from 1 to 5 will be specially invited to participate in the Phase II of the HDBank Futsal Natinal Championship 2019.

– Champion of the Futsal National Championship will represent Vietnam to attend the Futsal Championship of Asian clubs; The second ranked team will participate in the South East Asian Futsal Championship, with the conditions that the team /club fully meet the financial and criteria and regulations of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) or Southeast Asian Football Federation (AFF). In case the club /team does not meet the criteria, rules and finances, the Vietnam Football Federation will consider and decide the next ranked team to attend the AFC or AFF.

Stage I will take place from April 2nd to April 10th, 2019 at Nha Trang University Arena – Khanh Hoa. Stage II is held from April 15th to May 6th, 2019 (Round of departure) at Nha Trang University Arena, Khanh Hoa from August 29th to September 19th, 2019 (Arrivals) at the House Competition of Lanh Binh Thang, District 11, Ho Chi Minh City.

At the first match that took place on April 2nd, Sanna Khanh Hoa and Quang Nam had a good start with 3 points to be fully won before VietFootball and V&V FC. Meanwhile, Thai Son Bac had to divide the score with Da Nang
