On the morning of October 26, LS Electric Group inaugurated the LS Electric Vietnam Factory at Yen Phong Industrial Park (expanded), Bac Ninh. Attending the inauguration ceremony were Korean Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Vietnam – Ms. Oh Young Joo.

LS Electric is a pioneering corporation of Korea, providing total solutions for electrical/automation systems, smart grid solutions, green industry. LS Electric currently has 4 factories in Korea, 2 factories in China. In Vietnam, LS Electric Vietnam was established in 1997 in Dong Anh – Hanoi. During 25 years of establishment and development, LS Electric Vietnam has become the leading manufacturer of electrical equipment making and cutting equipment in Vietnam.

Delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate the factory

The new factory project in Yen Phong Industrial Park (expanded) was started in November 2021 on an area of ​​about 3 hectares, with a total investment of 25 million USD. After 1 year of construction, the factory was officially put into operation. It is expected to create jobs for 500 employees and generate revenue of 500 million USD/year. Here, the factory specializes in manufacturing and distributing products such as: medium voltage cabinets, low voltage cabinets, transformers and other electrical equipment. This is the first smart energy technology application factory in the North.
